2021. 가을, 이사야 61장의 그림을 그리는 중이었습니다. 세계의 열방이 찬양하며 나아가는 모습을 그리는데, 양쪽 끝의 사람들을 그리지 못하는 중에 기도를 드렸고 그날 저녁 집으로 돌아간 저는 아프가니스탄의 가슴을 찢는 소식을 듣게 됩니다. 그리고 저는 아프가니스탄과 같이 종교의 이름으로 박해받는 사람들을 그려 넣게 되었습니다. 왼쪽에는 히잡을 쓴 여인들과 크리스천이라는 이유로 부모를 잃은 고아들, 오른쪽에는 과부들을 그리게 되었습니다. 이와 같은 일들이 더이상 이 땅에서 완전히 끊어지기를 소망합니다. 인류의 수많은 죄들이 이 땅에서 사라지기를 소망합니다. 함께 기도해주시기를 바랍니다.
2021. Fall, I was painting Isaiah 61. I picture the nations of the world advancing in praise, and I prayed while I couldn't draw the people at both ends, and then I went home that evening to hear the heartbreaking news of Afghanistan. And I came to paint people who are persecuted in the name of religion, like Afghanistan. On the left are women in hijabs, orphans who lost their parents because of their Christian background, and on the right are widows. I hope that things like this will no longer be completely cut off from this earth. I hope that many sins of mankind will disappear from this earth. Please pray together.
